Foundation, she leads research efforts and produces research reports on emerging issues for practicing internal audit professionals
across the globe. Michelle is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she

Andersen (later Protiviti, Inc.) where she helped multi-billion dollar, international organizations mange business and financial
risks as well as assisting in their compliance efforts with rigorous legislation such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and
other industry specific regulations. As a relatively new member of YP, Michelle quickly jumped in to assist where
needed. She joined both the Membership and Community Service committees and recently coordinated a charity event at a local
center for domestic violence victims. Because of her deep passion for giving back, Michelle also volunteers on the Habitat
for Humanity Orlando Board- Family Support Committee to provide emotional support to future homeowners. In addition,
she works extensively with Junior Achievement of Central Florida, helping with fundraising efforts and volunteering in the
classroom, especially at schools for "at risk" children. Michelle is also an active member of the National Association
of Black Accountants local chapter.
Michelle believes that the mission of YP is directly in line with helping
her to meet her own personal and civic goals. The opportunity to be involved in YP initiatives from community empowerment
events to networking with Central Florida's best and brightest is unparallel. Michelle is excited to be a part of YP and
hopes to play a significant role in its continued success.

Sili Recio is a Rollins graduate and an avid reader who
loves to “infect” people with her reading bug. She has participated in a variety of community
service activities in the Orlando area including the establishment of a library @ the Pace Center for Girls. This
library prompted the beginning of a reading group for the girls which Sili coordinated until recently. GURL’s (Girls
United in Reading and Loving it!) from ages 12-18 participated in the reading group and for many, they were able to experience
having a book of their own, something that at times we all take for granted. Sili hopes to continue to serve the community
in whatever form God calls her to. |
